Project Leader
Essex, England
Our client is looking for an experience Project Leader for the safe, effective and efficient execution (design and build) of an assigned portfolio of capital projects, from concept through to operation, on schedule and on budget.
The successful candidate will be required to:-
Provide active leadership in personal, technical safety and environmental performance to the Execution of projects design and construction.
Ensure appropriate SHE plans are in place for the construction of projects.
Accountable for safety performance on all allocated projects.
Work in a professional manner and follow HSE procedures.
Provide input to assigned projects during the early development stages to develop robust business case.
Provide input to the development of Project Bet sheets for submission and approval by the Investment Steering Group in conjunction with the Business Development and Front End Engineering Teams.
Prepare and present Project Execution and Procurement Strategy Summaries.
Ensure the EPCm contractor is adequately supported by key.
Refinery Groups; Asset, Operations and functional disciplines.
Highlight any areas of concern to Head of Projects.
Make appropriate use of Project assurance processes (e.g. Design and Constructability Reviews)
Technical competencies

Understanding of Refinery configuration and major processes
Understanding of field construction
