The World`s largest supplier of essential components and systems for automobiles, including air conditioners, fuel injection systems, alternators, meters and filters among others is looking to recruit a Senior Sales Executive.
As a Senior Sales Executive your role will entail:
Handling daily issues relating to the commercial aspects of Rotating Electrics and Wiper business.
Solving those issues where possible/appropriate and/or establishing how best to resolve them in conjunction with the appropriate depts/manufacturing sites within DENSO.
Ensuring the appropriate and timely progression of projects.
Inputting to and maintenance of the related areas of DSUK s sales planning process.
Identifying and progressing areas of business expansion in conjunction with DSUK management.
Presenting to the Customer in support of expansion activities or project related issues.
Support to the SQA team on quality and warranty related activities.
Participation in and management of VA/VE activities internally and towards the customer.
Deriving, agreeing and implementing short and medium term plans for effective project control (commercial), and contributing towards longer term and strategic planning in conjunction with DSUK management.
Personal Requirements:
An Engineering or Business related degree.
Some experience of working in the automotive (or similar) industry, and a proven track record in automotive related sales expansion.
Willingness to participate in Training Activities to support Personal Development.
Good at problem solving, primarily in a Commercial world but also able to support Engineering, with a willingness to support "Continuous Improvement processes.
Experience of the customer/supplier environment inc processes and procedures, and also change management processes.
Exposure to APQP (or similar) process.

You will be required to work overseas for short periods (Business Trips - normally 2~3 days, up to 2 weeks on rare occasions).
