Electrical Engineer

Our client is Global manufacturer and supplier of Pneumatic components, associated equipment and assemblies.
Due to rapid growth, they have an immediate requirement for a Electrical Engineer

- Electronic circuit design. Creation of new electronic circuit designs, covering a wide range of digital and analogue technologies, for high volume, safety critical automotive control systems. Also involvoling the selection of compliant electrical hardware .
- Safety and Reliability Analysis: Performing FMEA, FTA, reliability analysis in support of ISO 26262/IEC61508 work packages and analysis.
- Generation of Requirements and Test Documents: Generating documentation in support of procedures and engineering design and development activities.
- Responsible for the generation of test plans and conducting test/verification programmes to ensure designs are fit for purpose and conform to design requirements. Including the setup and data analysis using instrumentation.
- Work closely with customers to ensure that their requirements are fully satisfied
- Work closely with the shop floor identifying improvements
- Degree level educated or equivalent in an engineering discipline
- Experience in the design, build and installation of electrical/electronic systems preferably in an automotive environment.
- Good understanding of electronic components and manufacturing assembly techniques and processes
- Experience of electronic controls systems
- A knowledge of PLC s would be of benefit
- EMC experience
- Autocad experience.
- Excellent communication and team working skills.
- Excellent planning and time management skills.
- Computer literate in Microsoft office computer package and comfortable with e-mail and the internet
- Innovative and embrace lean enterprise.
