Maintenance Technician - 2599

Our client requires 6x Maintenance Technician`s on an ongoing contract based in Stafford.
As Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of machining centres, assembly lines, test cells and paint systems.
You will be Mechanical or Electrical apprentice trained preferably educated to HNC or HND. If you have post qualification experience in CNC machine manufacturing environment, or Servicing with knowledge of Heidenheim or Seimans S7 PLC fault finding an advantage.
Applicants must possess good team working aptitude, being willing to be totally flexible within the business environment and demonstrate strong proactive behaviour.
* Good maths and technical writing skills would be an advantage.
* Strong people and team working skills are essential, as is the willingness to learn.
* Must possess the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with the technical staff, customers and suppliers.
* This position requires the incumbent to be NVQ level three or apprenticed trained (or can demonstrate the ability to be trained to the required level).
* Green belt trained.
* Is able to operate and communicate using 8D / 6 Sigma methodology.
