A leading mechanical handling systems company require an experienced Project Manager due to continued growth, the company has grown to become a leading designer and manufacturer of industrial lifting equipment systems and technology to a variety of industry sectors.
Main Duties
Candidates must have working knowledge of the lifting equipment industry in a similar role.
-Will be managing high value capital projects to time and cost, responsible for the management from award through to completion of all technical aspects of a project, ensuring the business requirements are fully understood and incorporated to an agreed brief
-Responsible for customer liaison from the beginning of project at the bidding stage through to completion of the project.
-Regular site visits to ensure project running to time and budget
-Should have background including fabrication work, structural, site installation work and machined components
Candidates should have previous experience working with a vareity of lifting equipment within a manufacturing environment
Experience required
Qualified ideally to at least HNC in mechanical engineering or with a recognised project management qualification.
Candidates must be self-motivated, enthusiastic whilst working to your own initiative.
You must also be IT literate using programmes such as Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and AutoCAD
-Candidates should be fully conversant with 3D design work, ideally using Solidworks
