Technical Support Engineer

My client part of a global group of companies, who are a market leading manufacturing company require an experience Technical Support Engineer to join the established team
The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for the servicing; commissioning and calibration of the companies products, along with offsite technical support to customers
Main Duties
-Supporting the companies service contracts as required
-Commissioning and calibration of equipment on site at customer sites
-Develop existing customers and increase sales by developing relationships with customers and distributors
-Helping and supporting customers on site and from distance
-Will be providing technical support to both external customers and internal operations.
-Support the design and implementation of improved processes and policy
-Assisting with training for customers on new products
-Use of company vehicle
Key skills
-Candidates ideally educated to HND level in Electronics.
-The role includes both UK wide and international travel
-Training given but candidates should have a strong understanding of the companies product portfolio
-Must have strong IT skills and previous experience of Programming would be preferred
