We are recruiting for a Technical Analyst on a 9-month contract based in Warwick.
As Technical Analyst, this key role within Product Design (PD) Operations enabling PD to deliver its extraordinary growth over the next couple of years. This position is the key resource planning interface into the departmental Engineering Functions, Finance and HR. Involves managing actual headcount by category and CoC totals, developing budget numbers for the following year and long term planning.
Reporting to the PD Resource Planning Manager responsibilities include:-
* Track monthly resource Actuals and Forecasts versus Budget and liaise with key customers in order to highlight and resolve containability and availability issues
* Produce monthly metrics including headcount report, resource status, completion status
* Provide interface to Finance, HR, Purchasing and B2B regarding departmental headcount issues
* Liaise with B2B to ensure correct support provided for PD, authorise and process all contractor orders for PD
* Support outsource reviews
* Maintain Resource Allocation Database (RAD"s)
* Develop long term resource profile for PD from the Cycle Plan
* Develop long term resource profiles with PD departments to support the Cycle Plan and Resource Flexibility targets
* Complete scenario planning and synthetic profiles to support Product Strategy and programme teams as required
* With departmental Factory Managers develop Non-Programme head numbers to support budget development.
Applicants must haveP:
* Excellent knowledge of Excel with the ability to develop and maintain complex spreadsheets including graphs and pivot tables.
* Competent in Powerpoint (Medium) and Google
* The role will require regular inter-site travel therefore it is essential that candidates hold a valid UK driving license
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work effectively and accurately to tight deadlines with minimum supervision
* Ability to handle and resolve conflict with a win : win approach
* Ability to critically appraise resource plans
* Ability to focus process improvement activity to deliver hard financial benefits
