We are working with a very specialist 1st tier automotive supplier who are very well established providing products into a major OEM. They have 2 sites in the Midlands and have targeted the second half of 2012 for a massive increase in production, they are making some 1100 units a week come August.
We are looking for 2 contract CNC Programmers who can programme offline for 5 axis machinery, the firm use AlphaCAM and proficiency in this software will be very beneficial. However, proficiency in other CAD/CAM software is certainly considered (DelCAM, Catia amongst others), you will be writing new programmes to relieve the pressure on the current incumbent. We are seeking an experience person who can work with the shopfloor staff, solve issues (tools or programme related) and be proactive in helping the company work through their workload.
A 6 month contract position with an immediate start and above average rates, the role is based on day shifts with overtime freely available.
