Operations Engineering Manager

Successful and growing business with a reputation for excellence in innovation, design and manufacturing. Centre of excellence based in the UK along with a manufacturing facility servicing Europe and a second base in China servicing the Asian market. Products are safety critical assembled predominantly for the rail sector.
They are in a position to recruit an Engineering Operations Manager. Responsibility will be for new product introduction, maintenance, capital investment and to deputise for the Operations Director. The role is regarded as a first step to a more senior position within the business.
Candidates will have an engineering qualification and be very familiar with metal cutting processes and assembly within a batch production environment. Must be analytical with good problem solving skills and excellent communication and people management skills. Candidates should be ambitious and can demonstrate a sound track record of achievement within a dynamic engineering manufacturing environment.
