Senior PLC Programmer-Automotive Design of Programmes-Siemen's S7

Reputable organisation, established in the UK for almost 30 years and looking to maintain and bolster its position with a number of key appointments. Working in a challenging but collaborative environment with a complex, technically innovative product for some of the largest and most successful automotive OEMs in the world.
This is a very key role for the firm being at the forefront of the design of new programme creation for special purpose maintenance and PLC machinery, you will be designing programmes using Siemen's S7 (PLC and HMI) which will be bespoke to the firm. This role will incorporate constant liaison with the manufacturing and maintenance departments in order to create a programme that best suits the company's automation projects. A challenging and fast paced environment so you must be a quick thinker and a proactive individual, applying a continual improvement mentality to the role will allow you (in collaboration with manufacturing) to make recommendations for internal modifications and future installations of equipment. This would also include small budget responsibility.
A permanent role with a very good market salary plus benefits based on a day shift pattern.
