A CAE Analyst is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Gaydon, Warwickshire.
Description
ORC Virtual/Physical Correlation Test Engineer. An experienced vehicle dynamics CAE engineer.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Extensive experience of Vehicle Dynamics simulation using ADAMS (Preferably ADAMS/Chassis or ADAMS/Car). Highly self-motivated engineer with proven inter-personal communication/networking skills. Confident presentation & report-writing skills; competent use of MS Office. Must have a valid UK driving licence and meet the medical requirements of our client’s facilities. A flexible approach to work beyond normal hours as required. Reasonable flexibility to support overseas testing.
Skills Preferred:
Experience of Matlab, Simulink FORTRAN or C++ would be beneficial.

Experience Required:
Previous experience of simulation within an automotive OEM, consultancy or motorsport organisation. Good working knowledge of vehicle engineering, test & development, and experience of whole vehicle evaluation. Proven project and time management skills. Demonstrable evidence of application of a robust scientific approach & knowledge of design of experiments.
Education Required:
Minimum first degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related subject (preferred but could be offset against suitable experience).
