The bulk of the work is for external clients and with facilities in the UK, USA, Malaysia and China, it provides technology and services to the global automotive industry in the areas of lightweight architectures, efficient performance, electrical and electronic integration and driving dynamics. Based in a very attractive part of the UK near Norwich, this role will appeal to candidates based in or near the following locations; Crewe, Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick, Leamington, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Banbury, Oxford. Leading a team of Chassis Design Engineers to turn Clients` Chassis Engineering aspirations into reality. Technical responsibilities will cover the following:

• Chassis Dynamic systems including front and rear suspension, brakes, steering, wheels and tyres and elastomeric mounted subframes.
• Powertrain service systems including cooling, fuel, air intake, exhaust, HEV integration.
  Candidates will ideally have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years industry experience in Chassis systems design with a significant period spent in a leadership position. Candidates from the Rail as well as the Automotive industries will be considered. A good awareness of CAD and CAE system capabilities will be needed and candidates will need to enthusiastic with a passion for Engineering.
