A Sealant and Adhesive Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Gaydon, Warwickshire.

Position Description:
Sealant and Adhesive Engineer
Root cause analysis, production assembly and paint shop production process knowledge. Expertise in expandable sealant media and the interactions with a typical production facility. Including paint shop oven time and temperature variation, production variation in manually or robotically applied sealants and adhesives. Adhesive sensitivities to atmospheric conditions including humidity and air temperature.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Project management capability. Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate at all levels. PC Literacy - Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc.
Skills Preferred:
Engineering knowledge of Body Structures component design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements. Experience in use of engineering tools - FMEA, WERS, PACN, AIMS. Working knowledge of OEM supply base and supplier portfolio capability.

Experience of working within a team environment.
Education Required:
Ideally degree educated.
