Our client is part of a major international manufacturing organization, with some of the best-known household brands in the world. This site is responsible for the design, engineering development and manufacture of a range of products for domestic and industrial utilization in the UK and abroad.

The SQA Engineer contributes as a member of the Quality team to ensure that the Company is protected from any issues resulting from quality and/or environmental problems arising from suppliers.

In addition, the SQA Engineer actively promotes the quality policy, both internally and externally to ensure that the business and its suppliers adhere to the correct quality standards.

The SQA Engineer has specific responsibility for:
Working with project teams to ensure that purchased parts are sufficiently defined and manufactured in line with Company requirements.
Auditing suppliers to our Company standard both from a quality and an environmental aspect.
Managing the internal audit finding system.
In depth knowledge of internal and supplier quality procedures.
Maintenance of records using the appropriate systems and procedures.
Visiting suppliers and ensuring that supplier process control is effective.
Supporting the Quality department by providing reports as required.
Contributing towards the maintenance of the ISO quality management system.
You will have experience in a similar role with working knowledge of ISO management system and training in auditing.
