Our client is a leader in design, manufacture and support of world leading turbo chargers and associated equipment.

Due to growth plans a position of Global Trasportation Leader (Supply Chain)has become available, and as such we welcome applicants who want a fresh challenge, and meet the requirements below:

• Delivery of continuous improvement in KPI s such as compliance audit scores, cost reduction, transportation lead time reduction, on-time pickup and delivery percentage.
• Understand the business requirements for all plants and aftermarket distribution centres located in Americas, EMEA and AsiaPacfic regions.
• Manage KPI s and service levels, driving rapid improvements where needed, with all suppliers.
• With Global Trade Compliance organisation and Logistics Functional Excellence Leader to ensure all export and import compliance.
• Actively participate in the selection and negotiation process for selection of suppliers to ensure business requirements fully covered.
• Actively represent the business with corporate transportation and logistics strategy development and implementation
  
  Qualified to degree/masters or equivalent level in engineering or a business related discipline, with concentration in logistics and/or supply chain management, you should have significant previous experience in a worldwide transportation role and be able to demonstrate:
  
  
• Excellent communication, project and change leadership skills with an ability to work across multiple internal and external organisations.
• Professional experience in transportation, logistics, import/export compliance and supply chain management.
• Strong analytical/quantitative skill set.
• Understanding of total landed cost concepts and analytics Extensive experience managing teams, meeting customer demands and influencing suppliers globally
• A willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, nationally and internationally.
