Based at our clients major distribution facility, supplying international markets in the electricity generating, mining, marine and locomotive sectors.
Due to growth plans they are now looking for a HSE Leader and as such we welcome applications who meet the criteria below: In this role you will be responsible to implement and operate Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) programs and systems to ensure compliance with legal obligations and company policy and procedures
- Continuous improvement of the Corporate HSE key indicators
- Manage resolution of HSE legal compliance issues for the region
- Give coaching/training and support on all HSE topics to the region
- Ensure distributor training programs are in place to address legal requirements as well as the hazards and risks identified
- Partner with Operational Regional Leaders to ensure HSE policies and practices are locally implemented and enforced
- Identify and deliver MIP for all of HSE audit items noted
- Assure compliance on HSE standards (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 etc.)
- Represent the region in all HSE Audits and regional HSE Councils
- Leading the Environment management for the region
- Deliver HSE metrics such as scorecards measures
