UGV Systems Engineer

Our client is a leading independent provider of product engineering, research, testing information and certification to the worldwide automotive industry.
This role is based in Warwickshire, close to the M69 and is commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Hinckley, and Leicester.
To provide Systems Engineering for Unmanned Ground
Vehicle development projects.
You will provide technical team leadership within large multi-discipline project teams.
To provide combined technical team leadership and project management for smaller projects or work packages within large projects.
You will have:
Typically a minimum of five years experience in a Systems Engineering role within the defence industry
Systems must have included elements of electrical, electronics, software and mechatronics
Experience of team leadership and project management.
Experience in a Systems Engineering role within the land vehicle domain preferably including Unmanned Ground Vehicles
Relevant engineering degree (e.g. electronics, software, control engineering, mechatronics) or equivalent
