Realtime Modelling & Simulation Engineer
Our client’s Hybrid Department are looking to recruit an accomplished Modelling & Simulation Engineer, with experience of developing electro-mechanical system models and implementing them offline, on HIL rigs and dynos, in the Matlab/Simulink environment.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Essential skills required are:
•Complex electro-mechanical system modelling experience is vital, including model design & development, not just operation.
•Experience with realtime hardware (preferably using dSpace products) is also vital.
•Substantial experience with Matlab/Simulink.
•Degree qualified (preferably in an engineering discipline).
•A strong understanding of physical laws and their mathematical representations.
•Excellent communication and documentation skills.
•Self-motivated and able to work consistently and productively whilst under pressure, often with competing priorities.

Experience Required:
Automotive development experience. Knowledge of legislative fuel economy test methods. Experience in the development of hybrid vehicle technologies. Experience of real-time hardware.
Applicants MUST have proof of immediate and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK.
