A Project Manager is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in the Gaydon, Warwickshire.

Position Description:
Project Manager for our client’s Program Management Team
Responsibilities:
1) Lead contribution margin projects, manage workstreams & progress delivery of opportunities
2) Drive analysis of vehicle line income statements to generate margin actions with all functions
3) Ensure correlation between margin activities & Vehicle Line profitability
4) Ensure robust timely & quality delivery of any tactical product actions with Programme teams
5) Review cycle plan studies for full & appropriate integration into vehicle line plans
6) Integrate cost reduction opportunities into vehicle line plans
7) Plan margin improvement & cost reduction events/ workshops
Job Requirements
Skills Preferred:
1) Good at building relationships and an excellent communicator at all levels
2) Be comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast paced environment and have a determination to get the job done
3) Must have good organisation and planning skills
4) Good financial skills and an understanding of product programme financial principles
5) Strong interpersonal skills, self confident , and a passion for the product, being self motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
6) A good working knowledge of Change Control, Product Definition, and Change Management processes is desirable
7) IT Skills - competent user of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint
8) Hold a current driving license
Experience Required:
1) Experience of project delivery within an automotive product development environment (ideally using GPDS product development system)
2) Meeting demanding timescales, maintaining budget controls and cost effective delivery
3) Business case development and Business Economics Reporting experience
Details
Experience Preferred:
1) Marketing, Product Marketing or Finance experience preferred
2) Multi-customer liaison experience
3) Experience of leading x functional teams in the resolution of business, technical and process issues
Education Required:
Qualified to degree level in either an Engineering discipline, or Business discipline.
