A Program Management Analyst is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Dunton, Basildon, Essex.

Position Description:
Program Management Analyst

The Program/Project Management Analyst will work on a Commercial Vehicle development and localisation project with a Chinese vehicle partner. He or she will be based in our Technical centre in Essex as the Core engineering and Program teams are based in UK.

Job Requirements
Major Responsibilities: Program management support and assistance to deliver Commercial Vehicle (CV) products for China and Asia Pacific markets. Program tracking for timing and work plans (from individual functional teams) supporting total Program Vehicle Timing (VPP). Program content control, support PDL (Program Direction Letter) process. To maintain Program disciplines (Global Product Development Process GPDS) and Gateway deliverables through the use of Program Management Tools such as Integrator (Training provided). Support weekly Program Steering Team (PST) meetings. Assignment/issues follow-up and tracking. Coordinate deliverable inputs from teams in both China and UK and coordinate issue resolutions by leveraging cross functional teams. Support preparation of Management papers for Gateway reviews, status discussions etc. In addition, some China JV partner liaison and related administration work. Technical translations and JV liaisons between UK and China JV teams.

Skills Required:
Prior Project Management skills and working experience in any industry advantageous. Highly disciplined and motivated person with good organisational skills. Energetic, focused and enthusiastic individual who drives for results and practices tenacity. Excellent communication skills both in written and oral English, good inter-personal skills - can interact with colleagues effectively in a large multi-national company. A team player. Microsoft office skills essential. Excellent presentation skills for management reporting.

Skills Preferred:
Chinese Mandarin language skills desirable.

Education Required:
Engineering or business degree essential - ideally with both.
