A CAE Analyst is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in the West Midlands.
Description
Position Description:
To provide CAE tribology analysis (friction, wear, lubrication) of automotive diesel and gasoline engine systems using OEM preferred software tools, including Matlab/Simulink.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Construction and execution of engine tribology models for friction, wear, and lubrication studies. Presentation skills. Report Writing.
Skills Preferred:
CAD proficient
Details
Experience Required:
Proven track record in engine system tribology analysis.
Experience Preferred:
Knowledge of GT-Suite, Flowmaster, and/or Amesim is desirable (applicants with experience in similar software and from other industries will be considered).
Education Required:
Degree / Doctorate in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
