Quality Engineer Required for Division of Global Firm-Automotive Background-Must have Experience of ISO/TS Standards and 8D Reporting

Our client provides proprietary products and innovative systems for automotive components, protect and repair construction materials and metal surfaces treatments.
Job Requirements
You'll be reporting to the Operations Director ensuring the Quality & Environmental Systems are maintained in accordance with the required standards. You must be competent with ISO9001:2000, TS16949 and ISO 14001 accreditations and be able to audit internally against the said accreditations. The role comprises of managing (1 Quality Engineer and 1 Administration person), train, evaluate, motivate, delegate and monitor all staff reporting to you; it's a very hands on role with a firm that are in the process of change. The career path is not pre determined and there are natural options to move up to Snr Quality Manager level within this division or another division of the wider group. You will take responsibly for the paperwork systems required by the Production Department to ensure the successful processing of customers’ components. A key aspect of the role will be talking to the people on the shopfloor so your personality must be of confidence with the ability to communicate articulately to them.
Details
Proven Quality Engineer experience is a must, ideally in mainstream Automotive (or Tier 1/2 OEM) or Aerospace as the company supply into both sectors. Significant Quality methodology understanding is a pre requisite and in particular Root Cause Analysis and prepare 8D reports. This is a permanent role and an immediate start, salary is market competitive and negotiable on experience.
