Lead Applications Engineer

A global company with headquarters in Huddersfield UK, we also have manufacturing and support facilities in Brazil, China, India, Holland and the USA, all are committed to providing the highest possible levels of service and satisfaction to our customer base.
Leads the Global Applications team for LD.
Works with derivative and platform teams to fulfill needs of customer engine programs.
Maintains and develops key knowledge of customer applications and the turbocharger product.
Is responsible for all tailoring applications work with delivery partner.
Ensures product offerings are aligned to product roadmaps.
Takes the lead role in communicating PQC items.
Working with TPL leads the development of the turbo tech profile and agrees it with customer.
Develop application approval program, including worst-case duty cycle definition.
Runs applications FMEAs where necessary.
Works with platform leaders to define applications guidelines for the product planning process.
Ensure all customer related data is included in product release documentation.
Appreciation of turbocharger systems and air handling requirements of diesel or gasoline engines.
Experience of Engineering design or service or problem solving with diesel engines or turbochargers.
Design and/or project experience with release of new products.
Knowledge of Gasoline and or Diesel engine.
Knowledge of trucks/chassis installation.
Understanding of release/production systems required.
Essential: Bachelor or Masters Degree level Engineering or related subject.
MBA or other Business qualification.
Knowledge of component integration to engine systems.
