Our client is a leading prestige automotive manufacturer. A new exciting contract opportunity has arisen within the area of Quality Management exterior parts, based within the Parts Quality Management team.

This is an urgent requirement and may run up until the end of 2012.

The team is responsible for ensuring the quality of the components in the vehicle and you will have a detailed view of world leading suppliers in regards to product portfolio, manufacturing and quality processes and the supplier nomination process
Your activities will include influencing concepts in regards of efficient quality target achievement, production feasibility and fit and function on the vehicle.

As part of the parts maturation process you will ensure capable processes at the supplier and decide on the supply release.

Furthermore, you have in depth knowledge of the problem landscape at the supplier as well as in the field.

Capable of achieving Zero faults via preventative quality work.

As part of the problem resolution process you establish root causes of concerns and ensure a sustainable problem resolution at the supplier.

You are the competent contact in regards to your suppliers quality capabilities for partners in quality management within the commodity across all of Group s locations, as well as purchasing, development and logistics.

There will be opportunities for international deployment within the quality management network across all Group s locations.
Essential Role Requirements:

- Successfully completed Engineering Degree
- Relevant post graduate work experience
- Written and verbal German language skills are essential
- In depth knowledge of quality management and tools.
- Excellent technical aptitude to manage suppliers with a variety of manufacturing technologies (e.g. metal forming, plastic moulding, extrusion, assembly etc.)
- Excellent logical and structured approach.
- Professional and effective communication skills
- Assertive and confident
- Competent use of MS Office
