A Cooling Systems Engineer required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Dunton, Essex.
Description
Powertrain Cooling system engineer, working as part of a team to design & develop Cooling systems and components, for application in vehicles worldwide. Prefer an experienced Engineer, but may consider a recent graduate.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Knowledge of Powertrain cooling systems & technologies (preferred but not essential). Experience with the tools of engineering quality (FMEA, 8D, 6-Sigma, etc). Excellent administrative skills and level of organization. Program management skills. Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Skills Preferred:
Working knowledge of OEM processes (preferred but not essential).
Details
Experience Required:
Candidates should have good general knowledge of automotive mechanical engineering systems, preferably gained in a powertrain environment.
Experience Preferred:
Knowledge of Cooling system component manufacturing, design or durability requirements is a distinct advantage.
Education Required:
Candidates must be degree qualified in an Engineering discipline.
