PE Technical Engineer

Our client is a Global supplier of safety critical sub-assemblies to the automotive sector.
The ideal candidate for this role will predominantly provide technical support to my clients Project Engineering department, support in winning new business, conducting capability studies on potential new suppliers as well as support in leading numerous internal projects such as parts tuning request, process improvement projects, facilitating the tooling process between headquarters and my clients suppliers.
Using computer-aided design software to redesign machine tools, equipment and processes to make new parts or improve operational efficiency.
Previous Auditing Experience.
A strong interest in engineering and design.
Degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering or equivalent.
Proven previous experience in cell process design.
Able to read and make 2 and 3 D drawings.
A strong interest in continuous improvement.
Previous experience in managing projects.
Previous experience of using PLC programming.
CATIA and AUTOCAD.
