A Hybrid Electrical Component Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Warwickshire.

Description
The successful candidate will work within the Hybrid Electrical Components Team within the Hybrid Shared Technology Department to lead the delivery of the HEV electrical components to meet programme timing and targets. This will include the following key responsibilities: - Working closely with target vehicle programmes to define and agree Timing, Commercial, Weight and Vehicle Attribute targets. Cascade vehicle programme targets to the SMG functional areas to ensure timely delivery of HEV function, components and systems. Report out status and champion issue resolution.

Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Proven track record of leading an engineering team and meet project milestones. Experience in component engineering for automotive application with electrical background. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to lead the resolution of technical and process issues within a Project Team environment. Experience in robust component engineering development essential. Proven project management track record Supplier Management experience - manage suppliers' delivery to meet technical, timing and cost targets. Problem investigation and problem solving. Confident communicator and leader. Strong organisational skills.

Details
Experience Required:
Proven track record of leading a team in development of complex electrical/electronics system from project initiation to project conclusion. Experience in delivery to GTDS and/or GPDS processes. HEV, EV component development experience.

Education Required:
Candidates must have a minimum of HNC/HND in electrical or electronic field, ideally educated to Degree level in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic engineering or closely related subject.
