Based on a very attractive University campus in Coventry, this Centre of Excellence in the development of Electric Vehicles (EV) and Hybrid Powertrains has an opportunity for a talented Chassis Analysis Principal Engineer to lead vehicle Chassis CAE analysis. Support passenger car and commercial vehicle Chassis CAE Analysis.
CAE - ADAMS Chassis/Car simulation and analysis of suspension systems and vehicle dynamic performance CAE - FE based structural durability of Chassis systems - Suspension members, subframes, knuckles and body structure using Hypermesh, IDEAS and Abaqus Creation of road spring, damper and bush specifications Degree qualified or similar Strong numeracy/literacy Minimum of 5 years automotive experience essential Capable of leading a project with minimum supervision Demonstrate a depth knowledge in chassis structural FE and dynamic analysis (ADAMS) Demonstrate depth of knowledge in vehicle chassis systems and dynamics, including experience in vehicle test and development Extensive general knowledge in vehicle chassis systems Knowledge of Matlab an advantage Willing and able to spent up to 1 week per month overseas including regular travel to IndiaYour CV will be forwarded to Jonathan Lee Recruitment, a leading engineering and manufacturing recruitment consultancy established in 1978.
