Our client is a major manufacturer of purpose-designed exhaust systems and emission control devices for automotive and manufacturing OEM`s
Due to expansion plans, we have a vacancy for a Emissions Engineer / RandD Engineerand welcome applications from candidate who feel they fit the description below:
- Lead or assist with new product demonstration and development projects.
- Advise internal and external customers on technical issues.
- Evaluate current and new emissions-reductions technologies and silencer systems by test, prediction and field trial as appropriate.
- Identify, and present justification for, new research opportunities.
- Develop, and train others in, techniques for prediction, measurement and analysis
Background: - A broad grasp of engineering and scientific principles at professional level.
- Demonstrable knowledge of automotive exhaust / emissions issues and combustion engine fundamentals
- Computer literate with a strong analytical background.
- A good balance of theoretical understanding and practical knowledge. In return the client offers a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes relocation assistance where necessary
