Maintenance Engineer

£25k - 35k per year + Shift Allowance
Our clients is one of the worlds leading manufacturers of medicines and pharmaceutical products, and due to their impressive expansion plans are now looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

Please note this is rotating day / night shift position
- To maintain and improve the equipment required for the manufacture of sterile products, on time and in full, meeting quality and engineering standards, to contribute to the achievement of Site Performance targets
- Responsible for working with others to ensure that shared goal and objectives are achieved by cells.
- To create, generate and complete engineering documentation to verify maintenance activities have been completed
- Support and direct involvement of business wide Continuous Improvement initiatives/plans using the visual management system to ensure efficiency and effectiveness is maintained at all times.
- To undertake fault diagnosis on reoccurring equipment issues, resulting in substantial machine downtime or rejected product, and implement long term solutions
- To participate and/or assist in Installation and operation/maintenance of new project plans/ milestones for all cellular equipment in accordance with project plans. Time served Engineering Craftsman
Minimum City and Guilds Engineering Part III (Mechanical)
Experience in pharmaceutical or related industry, and a good understanding of the required work standards
Good Problem solving skills
