Trainee assembly technicians - engine fitters

£8/hr PAYE / £11 Ltd
Our client is a precision low volume, high performance powertrain company with links to motor racing. They are seeking 2 trainee technician / fitters for a short term contract until end march 2012. Weekly hours are 42 hours per week (8.5 per day)but flexibility for some weekend working or evenings would be appreciated
You will be working in an environment second to none, clean, bright, precision oriented. Your duties will be to assist engine builders and technician in their duties eg keep tooling clean, update databases, cutting and caping material, preparing race kits.
Must be able to demonstrate technical ability, eg have practical work experience even though training is give.
Right mindset is key for this role as you need to be proactive rather than relying on others to allocate work.
You must have a GSCE in Maths or already be able to use Excel and Word (MS Office,
You may also have A levels, NVQs, ONC or C&G qualification or even be a recent graduate - you must be happy being hands on AND doing MENIAL duties
MUST have own transport (as no public transport)
Must be avail with 1 week and be eligible to work in UK
