Senior Project Manager

Our client is a leading clean power systems company. Their proprietary clean fuel and clean power technologies provide solutions to the difficult environmental and energy supply challenges being faced by governments and industry.
It is to technically lead the designated projects contained within the research and technology function group (RandT) and be accountable of their delivery. It is also to plan, execute, control and finally close the projects in accordance with my clients best practice directives. It will also be necessary to interface with the relevant internal and external customers throughout the various stages of the programme process.
- Accountable and responsible for project delivery within time, budget and to specification.
- Assist with structuring and costing of RandT projects (via PIAP process)
- Maintain project plan
- Create and maintain project with breakdown structure
- Allocation of budget and tasks
- Monitor project performance
- Manage, focus and motivate project team
- Manage project change control
- Presentation of technical status to project customers (internal and external)
- To own the quality and integrity of the project data
- Coordinate supporting research and technology tasks for projects
- Contribute to RandT roadmap definition
- Define and justify internal and external resources
- Ensure all relevant IP is captured and managed through the business
