Our client is a leader in design, manufacture and support of world leading turbo chargers and associated equipment.

Due to growth plans a position of Test Engineer has become available, and as such we welcome applicants who want a fresh challenge, and meet the requirements below

  • Standardising existing test procedures to provide reliable and consistent data
  • Supporting the training and development of technicians.
  • Monitoring/improving test productivity and data quality.
  • Supporting the review of test plans, providing input where needed.
  • Resolving test issues and lead problem solving activities
  • Producing capability data for existing test facilities
  • Providing feedback on resource status for planning process
  • Maintaining knowledge on latest test techniques and lead improvements Qualified to Degree or equivalent level in Engineering or Applied Science engineering, you should ideally be from an engine/component testing related background and be able to demonstrate:
  • In-depth knowledge of metrology disciplines, especially pressure, temperature and flow.
  • In-depth knowledge of statistical tools used for verifying instruments and operators.
  • Knowledge of the paper based side of testing ie writing work instructions and procedures.
  • Be able to understand and improve complicated test procedures both practically and theoretically.
  • Experience in analyzing test data and performing statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of basic mechanical, analog and digital electronic theory
  • Preferably knowledge or training in 6Sigma or related disciplines
