Material Flow Planner
Birmingham, West Midlands, England
Our client is looking for a Material Flow Planner to look at Planning, development and implementation of new and optimised material flow; material storage; and material line side feeding concepts. To ensure these can be integrated into existing and new structures to enable the continuous improvement of productivity in all areas of the physical logistics processes.
*Project Management
*Implementation of agreed logistics concept and processes
*Communication networking and cross functional working
*Measurement and analysis of logistics processes and systems
Excellent knowledge of logistical material flow planning techniques.
Extensive knowledge of storage area techniques as well material handling and transport technology.
Highly computer literate with excellent presentation skills.
Experience and use of planning and evaluation tools (e.g. EM-Plant, MALAGA etc.).
Proven project management skills, ability to lead and work within team environment, and also to work alone.
Knowledge of problem resolution techniques and their application.
German language desirable.
Qualified to HND / Degree / NVQ Level 4 in engineering or industrial engineering discipline.
