£35k - 50k per year + 35K to 50K + Bonus + Pension
Our client is a leader in design, manufacture and support of world leading turbo chargers and associated equipment.
Due to growth plans a position of Group Leader - Rotor Systems has become available, and as such we welcome applicants who want a fresh challenge, and meet the requirements below
- Determining the strategy of rotor system research and development within Cummins Turbo Technologies in support of the company goals
- Providing support for NPI, Current Product Support, Advanced Engineering, Purchasing and Quality as required by assigning tasks/projects to members of the Rotor System Group whilst balancing resources .
- Leading technical effectiveness work within Rotor Systems, including development of databases, procedures, work instructions.
- Working with the test areas to perform and develop experimental measurement methods to characterise bearing system performance. Qualified to degree or equivalent level in Engineering or Applied Science, you should have previous experience in a similar or related role and be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of rotor-dynamic or hydro-dynamic systems
- Practical understanding of turbo machinery rotor systems
- Experience of leading and managing a small team
- The ability to lead projects
