Product Engineer
Halifax, West Yorkshire, England
£20k - 40k per year + 20K to 40K + Pension + Bonus
Our client is a leader in design, manufacture and support of world leading turbo chargers and associated equipment.
Due to growth plans a position of Product Engineer has become available, and as such we welcome applicants who want a fresh challenge, and meet the requirements below
- Designing and developing turbocharger components for use in advanced engineering projects including waste heat energy
- Creating products that meet agreed technical specifications and project timelines/objectives
- Understanding the cost impact to the business on new engineering designs
- Taking an active role in the FMEA process, as well as supporting the design review, problem resolution and utilizing six-sigma tools to deliver superior products
- Significant experience of the automotive component sector
- Experience of design or product development would be expected.
- A good grasp and practical knowledge of materials, control systems, general engineering practices, as well as being familiar with Pro Engineer or CAE software
- The ability to work as part of a cross-functional team.
