Our client is part of a major global aerospace group and this business designs and manufactures precision mechanical systems for both the civil and military aerospace markets. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Technical Leader. This position could also be called Project Leader or Engineering Manager. It is commutable of Cheltenham, Worcester, Bristol and Birmingham.
You will be responsible for leading development of new technologies, architecture, design, analysis, testing and certification efforts for the complex mechanical systems. You will take ownership of an engineering programme, delivering innovative technical solutions while controlling cost and schedule.
You will preferably be degree qualified and have design, development or certification experience with aerospace mechanical systems. A knowledge of electrical systems as well as electro-mechanical components would be useful. Man management experience would be useful.
