We are a Tier 1supplier specialising in the manufacture of original equipment for many of the worlds leading vehicle manufacturers including Toyota, Ford, Jaguar Land Rover and Bentley. The World`s 4th largest exhaust manufacturer, we are able to provide our customers with unique product solutions, utilising our expert knowledge. We also offer a full and varied range of services; from full design, test, development and program management of product launches through to `make to print` programmes across the complete product portfolio. Located in Coventry, commutable from Birmingham, Leicester, Warwick, Milton Keynes, Northampton.

Continuing demand for our products has created a tremendous opportunity for an experienced Programme Manager to join the team. Key elements of the role are;

  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Control and coordinate all areas to ensure they deliver their contribution to a programme by the programme need date.
  • Prepare programme status reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information and trends.
  • Update and report the programme status on a regular basis.
  • Work closely with functional team members, Engineering, Planning, Sales, Quality, Procurement, Finance to maximise programme objectives.
    Candidate requirements:
  • Degree, HND or similar qualification.
  • Proven record in Project Management gained with a vehicle OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
  • Have experience of the design and development of a mechanical automotive system, ideally but not essentially, exhaust or after treatment systems.
  • Working knowledge of industry standard tools such as FMEA, APQP, DoE, GDT as well as quality tools such as Taguchi, SPC etc.
  • Proactive with an ability to seek out commercial opportunities.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload.
  • Confident and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Computer literate and familiar with Word, Excel, Powerpoint and MS Project.
  • Ambitious, seeking further personal development and career progression.
  • Able to exercise sound judgment in a high pressure environment, have a can-do attitude and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to speak German would be an advantage.
