A Senior Projects Buyer is required by a major international manufacturing organization. At the company`s site in Suffolk a range of products for domestic and industrial utilization are designed, engineered and manufactured for distribution within the UK and overseas. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Projects Buyer to contribute to the financial success of this global player.
As Senior Projects Buyer you will be responsible for leading the Project Purchasing Team ensuring the purchasing interface for a portfolio of projects support, and facilitate, the current and future goals of this organisation. Managing the internal relationships appropriately, you will ensure that the goals of your portfolio of projects are met.
Person Specification
Good standard of education, ideally Degree level or equivalent experience.
Excellent negotiation skills
NPI/Project Purchasing experience
Mechanical/Electromechanical/Electronics
Experienced gained in a high volume manufacturing environment
German language skills desirable
