Xtrac Ltd is a world leading supplier of high performance transmissions, they are now looking for a Design Engineer to be responsible for the design and detail of engineering components and complete systems, using the companies 3D CAD system to defined standards.

Specialising in Transmission Technology, supplying the Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, Marine and Motor Sports Sectors.
The Design Engineer will be responsible for CAD modelling and drafting on Unigraphics, creating and issuing of Engineering Drawings.
Establish, maintain and manage a strong working relationship with new and existing customers, at all levels.
Work as part of the core Engineering team - utilising the skills and experiences of Gear Technology, Production Engineering and key shop floor personnel.
Liaise with and provide guidance to the Commercial Function and Manufacture Project Managers.
Maintain suitable issue control and Bill of Materials for the parts and projects and in a timely fashion.
Advise corrective action to shop floor queries and non-conformance.
Carry out any reasonable additional duties as requested by management.
Candidates will be degree qualified, ideally with experience of gears, gearbox, transmission / driveline / powertrain systems or similar high-precision rotating components.
Use of Unigraphics NX.
