Prototype Project Planner

Our automotive client is a market leader in luxury and high volume off-road vehicles, designing and manufacturing in the Midlands.
Skills Required:
Must have good organisation and planning skills, and be an excellent communicator.
Must have tenacity and steadfastness to follow through and complete delivery.
Must be a motivated self starter who will go the extra mile to complete tasks on time, and use initiative to find solutions.
IT Skills - competent user of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and an aptitude to learn and apply new systems and processes.
Delivery of prototype build phase in automotive, electrical, electronic, aerospace or marine is acceptable.
Skills Preferred:
A good working knowledge of Change Control, Product Definition, and Change Management processes is desirable, and in addition, IT Skills - googlemail and OEM systems knowledge of WERS, ALERTS, FALCON, Integrator, etc.
Must hold a current driving license.
Experience Required:
Previous experience of whole vehicle programme delivery is a prerequisite.
Project delivery using a Product Development System (ideally GPDS) is preferred, however, experience of project and/ or supplier management, meeting demanding timescales, maintaining budgetary control and achieving cost-effective delivery is considered a minimum requirement.
Experience Preferred:
Application of WERS/ PACN/ Integrator.
Education Required:
Qualified to degree level in either an Engineering discipline, or Business discipline.
