EAME (Europe, Africa and Middle East) Human Services Division (HSD) of our client is seeking to recruit a Pensions Team Leader. This position is responsible for managing the in-house pensions team, all aspects of the defined benefit plan and to provide support for the defined contribution external administration. The position supervises a small team, ensuring individual performance objectives are met, tasks are completed within service standard and within a compliant and regulatory framework.
To manage the in-house pensions team (including all aspects of performance management) and all aspects of administration. The team are responsible for administering 14,000 DB members, 3,200 DC members and providing support for other contract and Trust based pension plans within the business units. You will run quarterly pension surgeries across all UK facilities and assist with communication and education sessions, attend quarterly Trust board and company representative meetings (LAC s), provide support for relationship management by attending monthly vendor meetings to discuss aspects of service and system deliverables, ensure daily tasks (retirements, deaths, new entrants etc.) are completed within service standard to defined quality metrics, provide coaching to team members following regulatory / legislative changes, provide support for annual audit processes, ensure contributions are passed to third party vendors on a timely basis, provide support to the Pensions Managers, collate management information and provide reports to the Trust board, company representative meetings (LAC s) and third party vendors.
You must have a college or university degree or equivalent work experience, willingness to travel occasionally, strong communication skills (written and verbal), strong customer service skills and defined benefit and or defined contribution administration knowledge.
