Production Engineer

Workload volume has generated the need for a degree qualified Production Engineer with experience in a quality focussed manufacturing environment, using lean / continuous improvement tools / waste reduction techniques and supporting health and safety processes. A proven ability to lead multi-skilled teams to deliver process improvements is highly desirable.
Ultimately you`ll be accountable for the processes that help deliver products that meet expected superior quality standards. Monitoring processes and internal audits, introducing product changes and assisting with delivery schedules, you ll help to ensure that processes are refined and improved every day. A flexible, versatile approach is vital as you ll need to be ready to work in any area of the plant Press, Body Construction, Paint, Assembly, and Quality.
Your responsibilities will be varied from technical support for manufacturing processes, through warranty investigation and reporting, to project change management. These core duties will call for a broad range of skills including data management and analysis, and the production of metrics; the development of internal plans with defined objectives and stakeholder alignment, and structured problem solving. You ll build strong networks and relationships; clearly communicate objectives, progress and obstacles, and coach workstream leads.
