Component Engineer / Project Manager / PMST L405

£28 - 35 per hour + d.o.e
A successful and expanding automotive consultancy and tier 1 supplier of chassis systems is seeking a component oriented PMST/Project Manager to manage the release, timing and delivery of chassis components. This is an ongoing contract.
An experienced Project Manager / Component Engineer from an automotive or allied sector is required to project manage the technical and commercial delivery of chassis components within the framework of the whole chassis system.
Please note, due to the nature of the project, unfortunately existing JLR workers cannot be considered.
Role Requirements:
- Good Engineering expertise either through education or experience ideally but not necessarily within automotive chassis sectors (braking, suspensions, steering, knuckles).
- Experience of working on component release within an OEM to achieve design and development technical and commercial milestones.
- Be able to compile timing plans, complete status reports
- An ideal candidate would be a Component Engineer with previous JLR systems experience.
