Electrical Project Engineer
Description
The work will consist of working as an Electrical Project Engineer and Designer to cover the electrical side of miscellaneous capital projects. The candidate will be expected to take part in general design meetings, produce designs for electrical work, specify and purchase electrical equipment, produce electrical drawings on AutoCad, and liaise with the construction team and contractors. He/She will work alonsgside other electrical project engineers and interface with a variety of designers, engineers,and construction personnel of various trades.
Job Requirements
SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Ability to carry out the full range of electrical design and project engineering associated with projects, in a multidiscipline team managed by others.
• AutoCAD competent
• HNC in electrical engineering or equivalent (minimum qualification level)
• Hazardous area experienced
