An exciting opportunity to be part of a world leading Development Facility whose work is undoubtedly pushing the technology boundaries in future aircraft design and manufacture.
You will be an engineer of Graduate calibre with extensive Aerospace industry experience. With a good theoretical understanding of composite aerospace structures and design for manufacture, you will also have knowledge of conventional composite laminating and curing processes.
With a proven track record of developing concept ideas through to realisation, you will understand how to create a stable process through structured experiment and sensitivity analysis of input parameters against output performance measurements. You will have a disciplined and thorough approach to documenting your findings

You will be a `hands on` individual with practical composite processing experience, an appreciation of automated processes used in composite manufacturing would also be advantageous although not essential.

You will have a good practical knowledge of workshop tools and equipment and be prepared to adopt a hands-on-approach to support the manufacture of components when required.

Sound project management skills and experience with budgetary control and experience of managing risk would be beneficial.

Creative, innovative and resourceful, high in intellect and energy, you will have the ability to work across multifunctional teams in a matrix managed organisation.
