We seek 2 ProE CAD Modellers for an initial 6 month contract based in Peterborough.

THE COMPANY:

Perkins Engines is part of the UK Caterpillar Group located in Peterborough. They are the leading supplier of off-highway diesel and gas engines for the agricultural, material handling, general industrial and construction sectors.

THE ROLE:

CPPD Tech Services require 2 skilled ProE Modellers to enable CADDS 5 data to be remodeled in ProE for live Tier 4 parts.
Reporting to the Project Lead and will support the business in their in house conversion project to update CADDS5 designs into the ProE system. Proven modelling experience is essential.
Responsible for fully contributing to solving technical problems while growing your analytical skills and mastery of engineering concepts.
Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor.

THE PERSON:

Ability to read an Engineering drawing and convert to a ProE model is essential, design understanding would be desirable.
