An Automatic Transmission Calibration Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in the West Midlands.
Description
Position Description:
The position is part of an established team of 12 responsible for the shift scheduling of all applications with ZF auto transmissions. The position will be part of a smaller project team in the delivery phase with J1 in 2012cy. The position will be Whitley based with day to day calibration work also taking place at Gaydon. Some travel to other UK and foreign test sites is also expected. Auto transmission calibrator required.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
ASIS knowledge. ETAS Inca package, must be at a working level with no support required. MS Excel - must be able to analyse data from logs. Recent experience with EMS teams petrol or diesel.
Skills Preferred:
Excel competent. INCA at a working level.
Details
Experience Required:
Recent working knowledge of ZF ASIS control. Must have working experience of working with EMS calibration team and auto trans supplier to resolve torque issues and to achieve required attribute balance. Must have working knowledge of CAN based electical systems. Full clean UK driving license.
Education Required:
Degree qualified in a engineering discipline.
