Our Client a major Aerospace business with an excellent reputation for quality and productivity are recruiting a Planner
They supply precision machined parts and assemblies to the most prestigious businesses within Aerospace. They have both traditional and state of the art equipment with a positive investment plan.
Production Planning has a high level of responsibility and in that their communication skills are key to ensuring that accurate information is available at all times in relation to being able to accurately guarantee customer delivery times.
The planner will interact with all levels, liaising with the Production Manager and Commercial Dept to agree delivery schedules taking into account the capacity of each plant and other products in the manufacturing process.
The Planner will identify bought out parts and lead times to ensure key components are available to production in time.
Use of ERP sytem Mapics/Baan.
Computer literate on MS Word, excel and powerpoint.
