Production Test Engineer to join this industry leader in the design and manufacture of sensor and optical surveillance systems for military and security applications. From its inception, the company has designed and manufactured equipment, specialising in highly capable electro-optical systems deployed for long periods of time, often operating in harsh environments, where high reliability is essential to a successful outcome.
The role is based in Hampshire and is commutable from Basingstoke, Winchester, Salisbury, Marlborough and Newbury.
As a result of continuing expansion a position has arisen in the busy production department for a test technician to be responsible for:
Inspection and test of small electro-mechanical assemblies and associated cables, both in-process and as completed product. Use of test equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes and other typical bench equipment. Manual Testing. Generate test procedures. Fault-finding. Documentation and process compliance.
Excellent communication skills verbal and written, and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential (to intermediate level).
